We all have our favorite stories about Jesus, but when it comes to His 3 and ½ years of ministry as a whole, the picture gets a little fuzzy.

· What order did these stories happen in?

· Where was He when they happened?

· Who was He with?

· Does it matter?

It's crazy when you think about it, but most Christians don't have a good mental framework of Jesus' ministry career. They sort of know what happened, but they don't understand how His ministry was structured.

The four Gospels don't make it easy. They are written from different viewpoints, and the events aren't always given in chronological order, making it difficult to discover the pattern and plan of Jesus' 3 ½ years of ministry.

We all understand how the sequence of events in our own life are what God used to lead us to later people and experiences, but we don't see those patterns in the career of the King who we worship. That needs to change!
