Standing in the Gap: Praying for Our Prodigals

When someone you love has wandered from God, it can be difficult to know what to do—but you can always pray.

Standing in the Gap is a Growth Group created to encourage parents who are faithfully praying for their prodigal children. Together, we’ll learn how to pray with purpose, stand on God’s promises, intercede for our children, and keep believing even when we don’t yet see the answer.

Using Draw the Circle Around Your Children by Mark Batterson as a primary resource, along with Scripture and other helpful resources, we’ll talk honestly about what it means to stand in the gap without growing weary. This will be a safe place to share, encourage one another, pray together, and remind each other that God is still working—even in the seasons when we cannot see it.

You don’t have to carry the burden alone. Come stand with other parents as we cover our children in prayer, encourage one another in faith, and keep believing for their return to the heart of God.
