We are looking for individuals with skillful hands and integrity of heart. (Psalm 78:72) Every volunteer position is critical to accomplishing our mission.  These roles serve primarily during our weekend worship services. Click below to find out more about any of these important roles. 

Riverside is staff-led but volunteer-run. Without our committed army of volunteers, Riverside cannot fulfill our mission in this community.

This is why we invite every Partner to Step Up. When you Step Up and serve on a ministry team, you make it possible to lead spiritually thirsty people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. You also get to be part of something bigger than yourself.

A servant leader is someone who has chosen to give his or her talents and time to God and others.

”The greatest among you must be a servant.”

Matthew 23:11

”So he got up from the table, took off his robe, wrapped a towel around his waist, and poured water into a basin. Then he began to wash the disciples” feet, drying them with the towel he had around him.”

Volunteering is other-focused. Joy is found when we take our minds off our own needs and issues and serve others.

” I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord’.”

Psalm 122:1

Everything we do at Riverside is meant to deepen relationships. We believe all ministry should be fun and experienced as a team.

”How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in Harmony.”

Psalm 133:1

”So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Our volunteers here at Riverside mean so much to us! Each month a volunteer is highlighted during our Sunday morning service. In addition, the month's volunteer receives a gift and a designated parking spot to show just a tiny part of how much we appreciate them and their dedication to the ministry.
